Question 1:Many women underestimate the power of the colors they wear, but color sends a significant subconscious message about them - about their character and about their personality?
Do you agree - if yes how and why?
If you don't agree - give me reasons.
“ I do agree, I think that color is a very important symbol and signal to other people. The best example I could think of is red, it is very provocative and sexual color. Especially when you think in terms of makeup as well. The reason a women picks to wear a red lipstick is she wants her lips to look flashed and that emulates the idea of sexual harassment and it kind of connects, it is attractive to men. I think every other color in the spectrum will also have significant.”
Question 2:How do Women choose the right colors and what do those color choices mean?
“ I think and know that men and women choose black as it is a safe. I think wearing bright colors shows real confidence and I think most people, the average person doesn’t have much confident in terms of wearing color. You often see when it is London’s fashion week. You see a lot of people wearing black everywhere, they wear more fashionable black clothes, however you might see people wearing bright color such as red. Here I am talking about England but if you look to the Eastern side its completely different. Women are wearing bright colors, Saris and traditional costumes. That’s my understanding from a city perspective.”
Question 3:Do women have to choose different colors for different occasions. For example:
1- Party.
2-Graduation.
3-Wedding.
4-Job interview.
5- MUN.
6-Paying Condolences
7-Day to day outing (movies & regular dinner).
“ I think they do, party is where colors come out. I think people are more frivolous and they don’t take it seriously so they can have fun. I would suggest dark colors and tones for graduation, job interviews, paying condolences and day-to-day outing because they want to be seen as respectful and serious. Color comes out in weddings; this is the real time of expression. For me I don’t understand why we cant wear color everyday. I also get that women get a position where they are being serious so that’s difficult. Its more of a uniform.”
