Question 1:Many women underestimate the power of the colors they wear, but color sends a significant subconscious message about them - about their character and about their personality?
Do you agree - if yes how and why?
If you don't agree - give me reasons.
“ Yes, I defiantly agree. When a customer enters my store, I like to know her personality so I can help her pick the right colors for her dress. I believe what you wear affects how people judge you. Each color gives you a different meaning, a diffrent energy and feeling. For example if you wear the color red, you feel very energetic and happy but when you wear the color black it gives you a different feeling. Black color has a lot of meanings. Your mood plays a big role in choosing the color of your dress or outfit."
Question 2: How do Women choose the right colors and what do those color choices mean?
“ Basically from my experience, not all women know what is the right color for them. When women go to a store and try certain colors, sales people compliment them and say this color suits them, so people think that this color suits them. Some customers come to my shop without knowing what color to choose for a gown. I always help them choose the correct color for them, but sometimes customers do not feel confortable in a certain colors and they like to stick to the safe colors. For me as a designer I advice my customers indirectly which color suits them and usually I go with what my customers decides."
Question 3:Do women have to choose different colors for different occasions. For example:
1- Party.
2-Graduation.
3-Wedding.
4-Job interview.
5- MUN.
6-Paying Condolences
7-Day to day outing (movies & regular dinner).
“ Definitely, however some people don’t understand that there are certain colors for certain occasions. For example we usually wear black and white to funerals and paying condolences, however some people go over that, they wear different stuff. Morning colors are different than evening colors. You should also take into consideration the lighting of outdoor and indoor. We should educate people about being stylish and chic by wearing certain colors for certain and different occasions. For example if a customer asks me to design a blue pastel color dress for an outdoor wedding party. The blue dress will simply look white from lighting. I always recommend for my customers to choose a dress with strong colors such as red for all outdoor events and parties.”
