Complementary: 2 colors on the color wheel that are opposite each other. For example red and green.
Split Complementary: it consists of 3 colors, 2 colors that are adjacent to its base color. For example red and green.
Analogous: 3 colors besides each other on the color wheel. For example orange, yellow-orange, yellow.
Triadic: 3 colors that are equal on the color wheel and give a 90 angle. For example purple, orange and green.
Tetradic: it consists of 4 colors in a form of 2 sets of complementary colors each. For example red and orange is paired with blue and green.
