Monotone Chromatic: Hue, tint, shade, saturation.
Monotone Achromatic: Neutral colors from black to white
Hues
Hues: 12 purest and brightest colors that include 3 primary, 3 secondary and 6 tertiary colors. Hues are cheering and exciting colors.

Tints
Tints: We can lighten the 12 colors by tinting. A tint is referred to a Pastel. Its any color with white added to it. For example a bright red color can immediately become pink color by tinting it. Tints are soft and childish.

Shades
Shades: A shade is opposite a tint. Black is added to have a shade. Shades are deep powerful and mysterious.

Tones
Tones: Adding both black and white that make grey creates a tone. Tones are more pleasant to the eye as they are multifaceted and subtle.
